Bikers already had a successful business selling and servicing Harley-Davidson bikes in Jersey when they approached Webreality about going online.
They wanted to offer the most comprehensive catalogue of parts and accessories available online anywhere, with a full search facility by part number, they want to be able to offer VAT-free prices to UK customers wherever possible, and they wanted the ongoing support of an expert e-commerce agency.
We started in 2007 by designing and building a new website for Bikers using Webreality's proprietary e-commerce management system, reMarket.
The most complex aspect of the project was the part number search, which, once completed, positioned
www.jerseyh-d.com ahead of any competitor in the European market.
After the launch of the site we embarked upon a programme of online marketing including
pay per click advertising (PPC),
search engine optimisation and
email marketing initially using bought lists. Over time we have helped Bikers refine their online marketing to focus on the tactics that work best for their business.
At present we are working on a major new project to substantially broaden the catalogue data in the site which will enable www.jerseyh-d.com to offer the largest online Harley-Davidson catalogue anywhere in the world.
