Webreality's relationship with Jersey Hospice Care goes back to 2005. The first version of Hospice's website was a simple site which just provided information, launched in early 2006.
In 2008 we embarked on a redesign and a major upgrade of the functionality of the site which added a number of exciting new features:
- Online donations
- Facility to sponsor individuals and teams participating in Jersey Hospice Care fund-raising events
- Ability to register and pay online to take part in fund-raising events
- Ability to buy Million Pound Lottery tickets online
- An online shop selling Jersey Hospice merchandise
These features all gave Jersey Hospice Care a new platform for revenue generation.
We expect shortly to start the process of a further redesign of the site.
Webreality has charged Jersey Hospice Care nothing for its services. In addition to providing our services free of charge, we have joined in the fund-raising fun, notably through our entry in the 2009 Gallery Rally in the Webreality Mini in aid of Jersey Hospice Care, raising over £3500.
