Our primary hosting facility is housed in Jersey’s largest datacentre, allowing clients to benefit from Jersey’s low tax regime and/or Luxembourg’s low VAT rate.
We are the only hosting company in the Channel Islands registered as a Microsoft SPLA and offering Microsoft’s application rental plan for Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
The Webreality server clusters are configured with hardware RAID and each Web and SQL server has a separate back-up, which will automatically go live should a fault occur. In adddition, the hosting infrastructure is highly fault-tolerant:
- Two independent sources of electrical supply from separate transformers
- Two Distribution Restoration Standby Generators
- Duplicated UPS systems including maintenance bypass
- Power distribution utilises Critical Power Distribution units connected with static switch includes maintenance bypasses
- Dual radial circuits to client racks and equipment on individually fused circuits
- Fire Detection System has a mixture of optical and ionisation detectors in floor, room, and ceiling voids
- Fire Extinguishing System utilises FM200 gas in floor and room
- N+1 Redundant self contained full function, close coupled, DX down flow units
- Temperature and Humidity monitored and maintained at 21 degrees Centigrade +/- 2 degrees and 50% relative humidity +/- 10%
- Access Control system using proximity card readers. Pin numbers required in addition to card for Datacentre areas
- EIV Digital CCTV Recording and Transmission System
- Water Leak detection system
- All systems monitored by IS1000 Building Management System
