A flexible solution
Les Ormes is a unique organisation. Not only is the resort composed entirely of 5* accommodation, but it’s also owned by a charitable foundation; all profits are donated to local charities. The team at Les Ormes are keen to continually develop their customer offer based on feedback from their guests.
With this special product and unique objectives, off-the-shelf booking engines just weren’t providing the flexibility required.
The end justifies the means
Rather than struggling with the limitations of a third-party system, we identified the opportunity to build a bespoke booking engine that 100% fulfilled Les Ormes’ - and their customers’ - requirements. This initial investment would be recouped in increased revenue and reduced staff overheads.
A slick marketing campaign would drive traffic to the site, with a user experience optimised to convert visits into bookings.

This custom solution was built from scratch, to a detailed specification we developed to meet the client’s precise requirements. With a record-breaking yearly revenue driven almost entirely through the booking engine, it’s a great return on investment. Dynamic pricing - flexible prices updated live based on demand - has significantly increased revenue.

The latest fully responsive version is designed to showcase the resort’s facilities, with a focus on the experience of staying there. It provides a clear, intuitive user experience and tells a persuasive story about Les Ormes which is optimised to result in bookings.

No more staged scenes with grinning models! We identified that photos featuring real people enjoying the resort’s facilities would appeal to the family target audience, representing Les Ormes' friendly & honest feel. Our design team carefully planned each image, directing the photoshoot to establish a consistent style and quality.
Tightly targeted, carefully crafted
Our 2017 strategy for UK marketing is 'digital only': cost-effective & measurable. We worked with Les Ormes to produce a schedule of Facebook posts, online adverts, emails & PPC to drive bookings during peak booking season. The ad and email creative was simple but effective, with aspirational images, catchy copy and compelling call-to-actions designed to appeal to specific audience segments. The result? A 50% increase in online booking revenue year-on-year. Boom.
