I'm heading off this evening to Internet Retailing Expo ('IRX') at the NEC in Birmingham to join a speaker panel with David Warr of Cooper & Co.
We'll be on the Mobile Payments panel in the 'Social Local Mobile' conference, joining speakers from PayPal and ImpulsePay.
The invitation came back in January after Webreality released an Apple Passbook implementation for Cooper & Co at the same time as an upgrade to their existing e-commerce website.
Expo organisers and online publishers Internet Retailing reported the launch very positively as an example of early adoption of the Passbook platform by a small business.
They are hoping that we can help delegates at IRX to find the way to their own mobile payments solution.
It's a great opportunity to position Jersey as a place where both commercial and technological innovation can happen.
Dave Barton and Mark Evans from Webreality will also be attending, and we'll report here on our return. There's going to be a lot to learn and absorb!
