When Santander International launched their Work Cafés in Jersey and the Isle of Man, it wasn’t just introducing new spaces. It was reimagining what a bank could be.
The challenge was twofold: to make the Work Cafés function as a hybrid bank-workspace, and to make sure people actually wanted to use them.
We supported Santander International to deliver both.


Making a destination
On the technology side, we designed and built a custom booking engine for the Work Café’s free-to-book meeting rooms - an essential part of the experience that keeps the space running smoothly. But the tech was only half the story.
Through design, content and marketing, we helped Santander position the Work Café as a space for everyone, not just customers or businesses.
The website and campaigns highlighted its openness: co-working areas for individuals, meeting rooms for small teams, and a free events space available to the whole community.

With the cafés operated by trusted local partners known for quality, the result is a place that feels welcoming, local and unmistakably human.
